I’ve never been very good at starting posts like this unprompted.
I don’t particularly enjoy the florid modern style of providing a big ol’ background about why you’re doing something. Not only does it get in the way of the information people tend to actually want to find, but it’s almost always saccharine, coated in thick film of nostalgia, or outright lies. So lets largely cut to the chase.
I am a web developer, a massive nerd, more opinionated than I should be, and currently unemployed. I don’t know exactly what I’m going to put here, or whether I’m going to continue to use this, but it’s heavily isolated to just my website, so it doesn’t really matter if it becomes one more blog that has 3 posts and gets forgotten by everyone but my host’s accounting department.
